The Story

"...She called from beyond the grave - a voice carried on the wind, making its way to the traveller. He sat up at once, startled out of a deep sleep. He followed the voice until dusk, where it stopped at a strange facade on top of an abandoned hill. What was this place?..."

"...As the glow from the final door faded, the traveller was left alone with the empty ticking from the grandfather clock. But soon a new sound caught his ear, beckoning from outside the chamber. He found an old window and looked outside - he witnessed a sky that never changed in color or light. The ground appeared stale, as if standing still in time.

But there was movement in a tree nearest to the house he lay trapped in, in the form of a fell glow that emanated from the center of the branches. It pulsed, like a beacon long forgotten in a dead world. The traveler's soul dropped, and his heart quickened. Fear was taking hold - to be lost in this world was to be truly stuck in an eternity of stillness..."
